Before You Schedule
Eligibility: Services are available for healthy dogs and cats only.
Age & Weight Requirements: Kittens must be at least two pounds and puppies must be at least 8 weeks old.
Fasting: Pets must be fasted prior to surgery (instructions will be sent the day before surgery).
Surgery Pricing
We are a low-cost clinic and strive to keep services affordable.
Prices include pain medication and a cone for dogs.
Cat Spay/Neuter: $85/$65
Dog Spay/Neuter: $250/$150
Dogs over 80 lbs: +$150
Brachycephalic breeds (Pugs, Frenchies, Bostons): +$200
Additional services (vaccines, microchips, etc.) available at time of surgery
Please note: Additional costs may be added for animals that are pregnant, in heat, obese, or difficult to handle. Pricing may vary based on size, age, or medical needs.
How Scheduling Works
Select your preferred date from the calendar
Complete all required fields accurately
Add additional services, like vaccines, heartworm tests, microchips before confirming
You’ll receive a confirmation email with a request to sign a consent form
Appointments are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email
Cancellations
No-shows may result in loss of fee and limited future booking privileges
48-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule your pet’s spay/neuter appointment without incurring fees. Cancellations and rescheduling requests may be sent to info@goldcountryac.org.
Day of Surgery
Drop-off time for DOGS: Between 8 – 9 AM Drop-off time for CATS: 10:30 AM
Pick-up time: You will receive a text message providing a pick up time after your pet’s procedure
Pets must be in a secure hard carrier or on a leash
Feral cats must arrive in a trap
Plan to spend a few minutes reviewing paperwork at check-in
Important Notes
We do not provide full-service veterinary care—this is a high-volume, low-cost clinic focused on spay/neuter.
Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled and there is no guarantee of a refund.
